Before downloading the file, please read these instructions.  After reading them, click on the link at the bottom of this page to begin downloading.

After clicking on the link below, most browsers will ask you whether you want to "open the file" or "save it to disk": save it to disk.  Be sure to remember which directory or folder on your computer you chose to save the file in.   After the download is complete, go to that folder, and open "invention.pdf" (it may show as only "invention").

During the last couple of years or so, most browsers and computer systems have been bundled with the free and widely available Acrobat Reader, which means that the brochure will open for you to read and print. If your computer does not have the Adobe Acrobat Reader, you should get it at www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep.html. It's a good idea to have the free Acrobat Reader, as it is the most popular and important plug-in for Netscape, IE and other browsers.  (With the Reader installed, you can, for example, view and print all IRS tax forms -- which makes for delightful beach reading.)

Depending on the speed of your internet connection, downloading could take between 10 seconds and 2 minutes, during which time you can still surf the web, send and receive email, and use other programs on your computer.

Once you've opened the file, you can view the Invention Record form, and print and mail it. Depending on your screen and resolution, you may need to click a couple of buttons in the Acrobat Reader to adjust the zoom settings and window size for optimum readability of the brochure.

PC users: right click on link below, and select "save target as" or "save to disk" or the like (depending on your browser, wording will change, but the idea is the same).

Mac users: click and hold the click; select "save target as" or "save to disk" or the like (depending on your browser, wording will change, but the idea is the same).

Note that digital signatures like the one in the Invention Record form are legally binding.
